WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK…
UGH…I totally forgot to snap a quick picture of our White Chicken Chili we had Monday night. We were all hungry and I just served it up and we dug in.
I do have a picture of the delicious corn muffins I’m planning to share in the near future.
Yesterday we went into the city and I got to have one of my favorite lunches (or dinners) that we frequently get when spend the day over there. Boudin’s clam chowder in a sour dough bread bowl.
DELICIOUS!!!

Having our kids home!!!
And spending time with them.
And having these 2 here with Katie.

Getting ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I made our Sweet Potato Casserole last week and froze one for Thanksgiving and one for Christmas. You can read all about the process HERE.
WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT…
The upcoming Christmas season and my parents coming out to visit. These are pictures from 2 years ago when they were here.
WHAT I’M WATCHING/READING…
My cousin recommended this book to me and said several people had recommended it to her. I’ve also seen it mentioned in several blog posts by other bloggers. I’ve said before that I’m not much of a reader but I’m enjoying this one so far. I’m about half way through it. I read it when I’m on my elliptical.
We are still loving This Is Us like the rest of America.
And if you haven’t been watching American Housewife you really need to give it a try. We think it’s really funny!!!

WHAT I’M WEARING…
I finally got to wear this green sweater that I ordered back in the summer during the NSALE. It is so soft, warm and cozy. I love it.
The sweater I’m wearing is no longer available, but here is on that is similar and here is another one, both by the same maker. These sweaters are made of the softest material and feel so good on.
I also finally felt like it was cool enough to pull out my new Frye riding boots. I had been wanting to get a pair of these for about 5 years and finally broke down and got them for my birthday.

It’s wouldn’t be Black Friday if we didn’t get out and shop with a few thousand of our closest friends #thatwevenevermet
WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH…
Having my kids home for about 3 weeks and getting to spend some time relaxing with them.
My parents coming for Christmas.
Decorating for Christmas.
Making sugar cookies.
These little cookies are the perfect bite!
WHAT ELSE IS NEW…
Trying to live in the moment and take in every second we get to spend with our children. I’m not quite sure how that last 21 years with them have gone by so quickly, but having these two home is when we are happiest. They truly are an example of your heart walking around outside of your own body.
