Hi friends! It the last Wednesday of March. Can you believe it? We’re slowly inching our way towards summer, my favorite time of year. The last Wednesday also means it’s time for What’s Up Wednesday. I haven’t done one of these in a while, so I thought I’d join in the fun, and link up with Sheaffer & Shay today.
WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK….
I shared this recipe last week and told y’all we eat it almost every week. Well I wasn’t kidding. We had it Monday night. Last night we ate grilled chicken, grilled zucchini and a version of twice baked cauliflower that honestly was kind of a flop. HA! The rest of the week is anyone’s guess.
WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT….
Weeks that go by way too fast. We had the best time with Katie and Luke last week. These two are so cute and so fun. We had a lot of laughs and now we have a lot of those fun inside jokes that families have. Can’t wait to spend more time with them and for them to come back to California.
WHAT I’M LOVING….
The latest addition to my hair care arsenal. This Revlon Volumizer! I’m not alone on this one. I’ve seen so many bloggers singing it’s praises. Depending on the amount of hair you have, this might be the only drying tool you need. I have so much hair I use my regular dryer first and then finish with this. It’s great friends. Trust me!

WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT….
At the end of April we’re headed to Nashville to celebrate Benny’s birthday and watch him run his first marathon. We’re so excited for him and it’ll be so fun to chase him around Nashville running. Kent has done one marathon and it’s cool to see Benny now doing the same. We’ll hopefully get some fun squeezed in with all our peeps.
Then I’m heading on to Virginia to visit my parents. My mom is having her second knee replacement in 3 weeks, so I want to go see them and hang out and hopefully help my dad take care of her.
WHAT I’M WORKING ON….
Blogging, always blogging. LOL There’s always something to be done. I’ve been having a lot of fun doing giveaways and have at least one more coming up in a month or so, so stay tuned for that.
WHAT I’M WATCHING….CAUSE Y’ALL KNOW I’M NOT MUCH OF A READER…
We started watching New Amsterdam and really like it. If you watched Blacklist, you’ll remember Tom. He’s the star of this show and plays a great part.
We’re also watching Bull, Madam Secretary and of course This Is Us and I often have Friends going in the background just for good measure.
WHAT I’M WEARING….
I’m still wearing all the cozy things. It hasn’t really started to warm up here and I’m way past ready for it to, and to start wearing all the spring clothes. I’ve ordered a lot of these and the ones I haven’t, I’ll order as soon as they go on sale. So much cute spring stuff to be had.

Yay!! I just loved following along with y’all last week in Cali when K & L came to visit! I know they enjoyed their visit and left refreshed and hopefully recharged with enough steam to finish out their semester! So of course I can’t wait to follow you to Nashville and Virginia! Oh those sweet pictures from last week just make my heart happy! I am excited for your Nashville trip and then on to spend time with your cutie patootie parents! Thanks for the tips on what you’re watching. I prefer to keep my viewing PG 13, so sometimes it narrows things down, ha! I often have Friends on as background as well. 🙂 It’s always the best hanging out with family, I’m sure you’ll have so much fun in Nashville. I’m planning on getting together with three of my girls in Orlando in a couple of weekends, so I’m looking forward to that!

Spring break always brings memories of past spring breaks. We typically try to spend some time with extended family and friends who live a lil further away. Can’t wait till our break next week!

Oh we just love Nashville! I’ve only made it there twice in my life but it really is such a fun area.
It is such a fun place. Both of our kids are there and we plan to retire there. 🙂
I am heading the the beach house tomorrow and then Friday Kelsey and I are off for a Mom Daughter long weekend in Santa Monica! Kelsey turns 30 (how can that be when I am only 34?) on Sunday so this is her birthday gift from Tony and I. A long weekend with laughter, food, shopping and celebrating the fact that my first born is 30!
