Hey there friends!
Well as promised, today is Try It On Tuesday for my visit to Loft.
Floral Mixed Media Shirttail Sweater
When I saw this I almost didn’t bother trying it on. It’s this years version of the sweater people went bonkers over last year and I pretty much thought, “been there, done that”.
This is last years and Katie giving me a tutorial on the art of taking “selfies”. HAHAHA
OK, back to the sweater…
I LOVE the back of this years version. The cute gathered detail is adorable. This sweater also comes in black with polka dotted hem and a solid teal that I didn’t see in the store, but love online.
Ponchos are everywhere this season! I mean EVERYWHERE!!! I already knew before I went in the store I was looking for this one and wanted to try it on.
I don’t know what’s going on with my face and causing me to have a lovely double chin…not great with a turtleneck. This poncho is heavy. That might sound weird, but it is. Having said that, I think it would be really warm…probably too warm for where I live, but if you are in a colder climate this might be the one for you.
I continue to search for tee’s that don’t look awful on me. I actually like this one. It’s a swing style which works much better for someone short waisted like myself. I love the sleeve length and it would work perfectly for transitioning from summer to fall or winter to summer with layers.
I’ve already declared my new found love for plaid so this one shouldn’t come as a surprise. It’s cute, flowy, soft, all good things.
This little blouse can be dressed up or down. It’s obviously thin and you have to wear something under it. I’m going to be very honest, if you are little lumpy and bumpy this might not be for you. It was a little clingy (I think I had acquired some static by the time I got to this one) so you’ll have to test it out for yourself. It’s really a pretty blouse though.
Comfy? Yes. Roomy? Yes. Longer length? Yes.
It sounds better than it looks on me…LOL. I think I should have tried a half tuck in the front with this one. It would likely work better on a taller person and the photo really doesn’t do it justice. It’s cuter than it appears.
I saw this blouse online and liked it, but worried those sleeves would drive me ape crazy. I’m thinking I just might have to risk it, because it’s SO cute!!! LOVE this one.
I pretty much loved everything about this poncho. It’s a lighter weight and has built in sleeves.

See? Sleeves…love that!
Hangs slightly longer in the back.
UGH…I can not find the link to this sleeveless tunic anywhere on Loft’s site.
I can tell you that I’m seeing this style everywhere for this time of year. Here I have it on with jeans, and below with some army green cargo pants. I think you could also pair it with a dressier pant for work wear.
I. love. these. pants.
End of story!
They are soft, cute, fit great!!! LOVE.
Sweater tunic looks adorable with them and looks cute with a necklace.
This plaid tunic is a really soft, flowy material. It would look super cute with black leggings and brown boots.
I loved the look of a half tuck with these cargo pants! (heart emoji)
Hope you got some good ideas from my little dressing room excursion. Again, I’m simply amazed how different clothes look on a “real” woman versus the models used on the website.

I love try it on Tuesday! I wish I had more time to shop but time is of a premium these days. Going "shopping" with you is so fun and helpful and seeing you try things on gives me inspiration to branch out. ~Charlotte

Thanks so much Charlotte!!! Having 3 littles at home and working I'm sure occupies most of your time. Come back to visit and we'll shop 😉 XOXO
