Accessories! I love them and now I can’t believe it took me so long to get on board.
They can make an outfit and help define your style. It’s only been in the past couple of years that I’ve really become aware of accessorizing my wardrobe and let me tell you that once you make that leap it opens up a whole new, fun world.
There are an endless number of accessory brands, but I’m definitely partial to some more than others.
I started with a Brighton Bracelet that was a gift from my brother and sister-in-law for my birthday. I loved it then and I love it now. I’ve bought more beads to go with it and can change it according to my outfit.
Next came Pandora. It’s very similar to Brighton but a little more pricey. I started buying it for my mom and periodically they run promotions where if you spend $100 you’ll get a free bracelet. Well, that’s not hard to do and I ended up with a couple of the basic bracelets so I finally decided I may as well start collecting beads for myself.
My friend Elizabeth and I always bring each other treats when we visit each other.

She showed up a couple of years ago with and Alex and Ani bracelet. I was just beginning to notice them on people and that got me started collecting them. They have a very reasonable price point for gifts and making it easy to build a collection for yourself. They look adorable stacked on your arm and you can mix the silver and gold finishes, which I love to do.
Click HERE for all Alex and Ani bracelets.
Here’s where I started to really branch out.
Kendra Scott
I broke down and bought the Rae pendant. I started with it because I wasn’t sure I’d like the tassel on the bottom of the Rayne necklace. WRONG!!! I eventually bought one of those and LOVE it!
Check out all the Kendra Scott necklaces HERE.
Who wears a Kendra Scott necklace without the matching earrings? Not me 😉
Look…see my earrings? LOVE!!!
Look at all those beautiful colors!!!
See all the Kendra Scott earrings HERE.
My favorite earrings are the Elle. They’re just the right size…not too small, not too big.

Once I started wearing a few larger pieces, I branched out and started expanding my collection. I found out about a shop in Texas called Accessory Concierge. I’m not affiliated with them, I just love there stuff. I’ve talked about them previously HERE.
I wear all of these all the time. The second and third are my favorites just because they are lighter weight. Not that the others are heavy, you’re just more aware you have them one.
Even the most casual outfit looks better when accessorized.
I’ve now discovered yet another little jewelry boutique in where else…Texas.

It’s called Kinsley Armelle and I talked about it HERE. They also carry unique pieces and I’ve fallen hard for them.
I started by ordering a necklace and a bracelet stack along with a single bracelet. Every time I wear them I get comments, questions and compliments.
You should check out their website for yourself.
If you find something you like they’ve given me the code CoasttoCoast2 for all my readers to get 15% off your entire purchase. Christmas is coming.

Nordstrom also carries a couple of other reasonably priced lines of accessories. One can be found in their Point of View department and I’ve recently started noticing and purchasing a few for myself.
They are called Panacea and you can see all they have to offer HERE.
I bought this pair of earrings during the anniversary sale and love them. I can wear them with gold and silver so they do double duty.

They also carry a line of jewelry from B.P. found in the Juniors Department.
If you are ready to try a longer necklace and like the look of the Kendra Scott but aren’t quite ready to invest in one, this one is a terrific option.

BP Mother of Pearl Pendant Necklace
There are more accessories than just jewelry in this line too. They have purses, scarves, hats, and more. See all the BP line HERE.
I bought this purse for Katie before she left for school and she loves it.
BP Faux Leather Saddle Crossbody Bag
So there’s a TON of info on accessories for you. If you haven’t given them a try, go for it. I don’t think you’ll be sorry. People really notice jewelry and it’s fun to wear something interesting and have people comment on it.
Do you have a favorite brand I need to check out? Shout it out in the comments. I’m always on the lookout for something new and exciting.
