I’ve been meaning, wanting, thinking, all the “ings” to do an Amazon post for quite a while. I love all the Amazon posts and I’ll read just about anything that has the word Amazon in the title. This will hopefully be the first of many of these posts.
It felt like every time I turned around or read a blog someone was singing the praises of packing cubes. I was leery and really figured they’d be a waste of money. Well let me be the first to admit I was wrong #andidontliketodothat I used these for this trip and I can’t believe how efficient and awesome they are. They make it possible to fit so much more in a suitcase. The only downside…being able to put too much in a suitcase. I was right at the 50# mark and still could have fit more in. #packerbeware
If you only get one thing from this post, this needs to be it. I have one of these upstairs in my bathroom and I really think I need one for downstairs.
I started hearing all about the benefits of Elderberry during the winter. People were singing it’s praises for keeping healthy and shortening the duration of colds and flu. I sent some to Katie and she managed to dodge getting sick in spite of her roommate having the flu and a couple other bouts of illness. #werebelievers
I think this looks like the best little gadget and plan to order one. You can plug it right into your phone and get the pictures off of your SD card from you DSLR camera without having to go through the computer. #timesaver
I like a really fine point pen and these are my favorites. I can only find black occasionally in stores, so I order these on Amazon.
DOMINOS || TRAINS || HUB || WOOD RACKS
We love to play Dominos. I ordered the wooden racks to hold our dominos and they make it so much easier to play. A Domino set only comes with 4 trains and you can have more players than that, so I ordered extra trains and a larger hub.
I ordered this tripod for my cell phone. It comes with a remote, making it easy to set up for selfies or group shots. You can use it for hands free Facebook lives or Instagram stories.
Have you been seeing anything about dermaplaning? Basically it’s removing the peach fuzz on a woman’s face by shaving, but it can also be used to remove a superficial layer of dead skin allowing skin care products to sink in better and makup apply smoother. I’ll admit the idea of a woman shaving her face sounded a bit weird to me at first. I have a good friend who does it and then I started hearing more and more about it. Well you know in the interest of research I had to give it a whirl. I’ve done it a few times and it does make your skin feel baby soft. I was worried when the “fuzz” started to grow back it might feel like stubble, but thankfully it doesn’t.
I hope you’ll subscribe to receive posts by email. Just scroll back up to the top and fill in the box on the left above my picture. You won’t get spammed, just an email anytime a new post is published, so you never miss out. I’d also love it if you’d follow me on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter. The more followers I have, the more exposure I get means more opportunity for growth and sharing things you’d be interested. It’s a win-win. Just click the little icons below or the links above and thanks a million!

I am still in aww of how those packing cubes made packing so much easier! I hope you have a marvelous Monday my sweets!
Lisa Richardson says
Isn’t it a hoot that the 3 of us did Amazon posts today without even talking about it.? I think the gummies are especially good for the kids at college. Happy Monday my friend! XO
leaculp says
I’m debating the packing cubes but guess I should try them like everyone else. I just think I’ve lived without them this long surely I don’t need them. :0)) I have two of those phone holders and they are a part of my Prime post for tomorrow. I love them! Happy new week!
Lisa Richardson says
I say just go for it. I felt exactly the same about them and they really are great. Go figure. I definitely need another phone holder. Happy New Week to you too! XO
Melissa @ Loving Life Moore says
Okay, so those packing cubes are genius – perfect for this family that’s always freaking going somewhere new haha also, those Tinkle Razors have me super intrigued!
Lisa Richardson says
You’re so funny. They would be awesome for packing the kids stuff though. Try the Tinkles (that’s a funny sentence) XOXO
Biana Perez says
These are definitely my favorite posts to read and write! I have those packing cubes and razors! that stand is pretty awesome as well! xo, Biana-BlovedBoston
Lisa Richardson says
I know, right?! Amazon is all the rage. LOL
Tanya @Other Side of the Road says
Thanks (in advance) for linking up with Prime Purchases. I’m so glad you liked the packing cubes. You are right …they can really make your bag heavy because so much is squeezed into the little cubes! The tinkle razor is going on my Prime post tomorrow. I tried them – they did make my face feel smooth, but also really irritated my skin. So they were a no-go for me. I also love that phone stand.
Lisa Richardson says
Well that’s a bummer about the razors, but I’m sure they aren’t for everyone. The phone stand is the bomb!!!
Kim Taylor says
I ordered the packing cubes for myself. I have a mismatched set so I am letting Tony use them for our upcoming vacation and I will use my hot pink set 🙂 so thank you for the link!
Lisa Richardson says
YAY! I know, I think I need to get a set for Kent…maybe just the set with 3 (of course I could always fill the other two for him. HA!)
Gina Daily says
You definitely need a phone stand for downstairs! In fact you need a few around the house. Ha!
Lisa Richardson says
YOU.ARE.RIGHT!!!
Laura says
I use those pens, but in purple and love them! They write so nicely! I’ve heard about those razors, everyone seems to really like them. I think I need to try them!
Lisa Richardson says
Give the razors a whirl. I wish the purple came in the ultra fine point…I’ve only seen them in fine. Let me know if you found them in the .38 (how’s that for discerning…LOL)
Rebecca Jo / Knit by God Hand says
I think we’re twins because I’ve purchased most of all these. The razors, the Elderberry, the phone stand, & I just bought another game from Amazon – prime twins!!!
Lisa Richardson says
Woohoo!!!! Love having a twin! XO
Laura Marie says
Amazon is superb isn’t it? Great choices and thanks for sharing.

It sure is. It took me a while to get on the bandwagon, but now I’m driving it. LOL
Carrie @ Curly Crafty Mom says
Ohh, I need to get those Elderberry gummies next winter. When we were at CVS for a bug that Autumn had this winter, she suggested elderberry. I’ve heard once about shaving your face, but eek. I’m afraid my face would feel itchy! I do need that phone stand.

Lisa Richardson says
YES, you do. Katie swears by them! The razors haven’t made my face itchy at all. XO
Mother of 3 says
I have that same cell phone tripod! (I have yet to actually take it out of the box and use it but I have it). LOL. You just reminded me that we pulled our last erasable pen out of the cabinet this morning and I was supposed to order more from Amazon.
Lisa Richardson says
I let you in on a secret…I forget to use mine a lot of times, but I have at least a few. LOL. Hope you got your pens ordered! XO
Sarita G says
thanks for the note on the elderberry gummy’s! Will have to remember that for next cold and flu season 🙂
Lisa Richardson says
Happy to share! They are a staple for my daughter in college!
Dara says
I have the SD card to phone attachment and it is so convenient for when I’m traveling!
Lisa Richardson says
Awesome! I’ve got to get that ordered!!! Happy Monday Dara! XO
Jess says
I LOVE these kinds of posts–even though they’re so dangerous for my bank account! 🙂 I’m so intrigued by the SD card reader! I do have an SD card with Eye Fi, so I can use Wi Fi to transfer pics directly from my DSLR to my phone, but this is such a cool alternative. Unfortunately, though, we are not “like mother, like daughter” on the pen front–I hate the G-2! Eek! Fine pens just are not my fave. I know I’m in the minority, though! 😀
Lisa Richardson says
Me too Jess! What? No fine pens for you? LOL My husband likes a Medium point too. Oh well…to each his/her own. Right? XO
