Hey guys and happy Friday! What a week. Monday started off with a BANG, and not like a confetti bang, but more like a car backfire. HA! Anyway, thankfully we’re moving on. So what brought happiness at Coast to Coast this week? Let’s find out.
I feel like I start a lot of sentences with, “if you watch my Instagram stories…” I try to get on, most days and say hey, share what I’m doing, etc… I also share things I’m liking, etc…I’m trying all kinds of protein bars here of late. I like to eat one in the afternoon with my coffee to hold me until dinner. Andrea told me about these Quest bars, and they’re pretty good. She also told me to put it the microwave for 10 seconds, and it really does make a difference. I love when y’all recommend things and we share with each other.
These Pure Protein bars are still my favorite. These are almost like having a candy bar, and I can definitely get behind that. I was eating the Kirkland brand protein bars for quite a while, but I got tired of them. They are a much better price in the warehouse than online, but if you don’t have access to a store, you can buy them here.
Another thing I shared on Insta-stories this week was about Katie having a hard week and so we sent her a treat. Tiff’s Treats is absolutely the best. They are only in a few states, but if you want to send someone a little pick me up, check them out. I sent her a dozen warm chocolate chip cookies and a pint of ice cream. That’s right. They schedule the time of delivery so they can take the cookies warm. #nextbestthingtomom Wouldn’t that cheer anyone up?
Are you ready? LOL! I also shared on stories this week how I curl my hair. (see, y’all gotta’ follow along on IG for all the behind the scenes things) I’ve had quite a few people ask for a “tutorial”, so I finally did it. I saved it along with one I did a few months ago on how I dry my hair in my Highlights. These are all of the products I currently use, or rotate in and out of my “arsenal”.

I ordered this Buxom Eye Shadow Palette from TJMaxx. It is a KILLER deal. Let me repeat that, a KILLER deal! The colors are gorgeous and soft, even the darker purple. I figured I’d never wear that, and I’m wearing it on the outer corner of my eye daily. This is a refillable palette (which I didn’t even realize when I purchased it). Here’s why I say it’s such a “killer” deal. If you buy just the empty palette at Ulta, it’s $13, and the individual colors are $12 or 6/$40. I paid $14.99 for this whole thing. I should probably just go ahead and order a couple more while they are so cheap. #getyaone
How cute are these darling little scripture cards? Shelly sent them to me, and I promptly found a home for them in the kitchen. That way I can see them daily, and be reminded of her, along with some sweet scriptures. #thankssweetfriend

I love Tiff’s Treats. I had never heard of it until a friend sent us some after Michael’s knee surgery. Delicious and such a fun way to brighten someone’s day. I know Katie must have been so happy to get that treat. Have a good weekend!

Rib eye steak sandwiches, potato salad, veggie tray, artichoke dip, crackers cheese etc and Tay made the cutest brownies in the shape of footballs. Tony is a die hard niner fan so he and my sister will be cheering hard! I’m here for the food. A beer or two. And the pools we are in! #hopeiwinbig have a good weekend!!
