You know I feel so bad for the 2020 graduates. They have been “robbed”, so to speak of one of the most momentous times in their lives. Missing out on a long list of lasts. Last weeks of their senior years, last dances/proms, celebrations in honor of them and their friends, and of course their actual graduations. These are times they can’t get back. Of course at the same time, they sure have a story to tell. One that I imagine will be talked about for the rest of their lives. Let’s make sure they don’t get overlooked when it comes to celebrating them and giving them the gifts they deserve and have earned. Sometimes it’s hard to come up with an original idea, so here is roundup of graduation gifts for her in all price ranges. Grab one big gift or make a themed gift.
Themed gifts:
Travel – Packing Cubes, Jewelry Cube, Makeup Case
Dorm – Keurig, mugs, Yeti, Blanket
Beauty – Makeup Case, Eyeshadow Palette, Perfume
Jewelry – Necklace, Travel Jewelry Cube, Watch
Kitchen – Keurig, Cookbook, Mugs, Yeti
Makeup case – One stop makeup case. This case hold everything. For the college girl, she can carry it to the bathroom to apply her makeup, or throw it in her suitcase to travel.
Leather crossbody bag – I have loved the look of this crossbody for a long time. Every girl needs a nice black crossbody bag.
Barefoot Dreams blanket – I don’t know a female on the planet that wouldn’t love to receive anything from Barefoot Dreams. I have one of these blankets, and have given them as gifts. They are the softest, and perfect for curling up in for a long night of studying…or TV?
Yeti Tumbler – I carry a Yeti around all day with my water/tea in it. Another great thing for that long night of studying.
Packing Cubes – Traveling to and from school. Traveling for study abroad. Traveling for a new job. Travel cubes are truly a game changer. I bought them because everyone kept talking about them, and I had low expectations. I’ll be the first to admit, I was so wrong. They make packing a suitcase and getting more in it, so much easier.
Heart Necklace – I just think this is such a sweet necklace. If your girl is going away from home for the first time, how sweet to have this around her neck to remind her she.is.loved!
Circle Pendant – This is one of my most worn pieces. I actually gave one to Katie for her graduation a few weeks ago. It’s the perfect layering piece too.
Apple Watch – Y’all know I L O V E my Apple watch. Some of the best money I’ve ever spent. Again, I had my doubts as to how I’d feel about it. Well let me say, I am a huge fan. If you want to read my thoughts about it, check out this post. This would be memorable graduation gift for sure.
Perfume – Every girl wants to smell pretty. These Jo Malone fragrances are very popular and smell beautiful.
Eyeshadow Palette – Of course new makeup is always fun.
Birkenstocks – These would make the perfect shoes to wear to the shower, or in the shower. They’re also perfect for everyday summer wear, and come in fun colors. These are cheaper than the leather version, so that’s a plus too.
Travel Jewelry Cube – Katie has been wanting a little jewelry cube like this, so I figure any girl would like one. I use my travel jewelry case to this day that was a high school graduation gift.
Cookbook – This could very well be her first cookbook. Whether it’s microwave, toaster oven, or first apartment kitchen, this would be great for the college girl.
Floral Mugs / Tile Mugs – Show me a girl that doesn’t like mugs…
Keurig – Coffee is the life blood for a college girl, or if you know a college grad, how cute would this be in her cube/office space?
Okey doke! I hope there was something on this list that helps you figure out some graduation gifts, or better yet, helps out a grad in your life.

Every time I see that heart necklace, I want one! It’d be sweet to get matching ones with Autumn. She has a few Kendra Scott items. This is a great gift guide, I love all of these. I have that tile anthropology mug and used it today.

My sister just graduated college and I feel terrible that she hasn’t gotten her big “whoop” that other grads get. These are sweet gifts to let them know that you are thinking of them!
Lisa Richardson says
I know what you mean, Gentry. I hate that we didn’t get to go through all the fanfare with our daughter. XO

These are great suggestions! I feel SO bad for the 2020 grads. I have such fond memories of my own various graduations, and it’s not fair for them to be short-changed like this. 🙁
Lisa Richardson says
Thanks girl! Yes, they totally got ripped off…and so did their parents?
