Hey friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. This was our first run of the mill weekend in almost a month. Sometimes it’s nice to just get back in the groove of normal and go with it.
That being said…we are now counting down to our trip NEXT WEEK to Hawaii.

Friday I was just heading out the door when I found a package on my porch. Who doesn’t love a package? And when you know it’s from a super sweet friend, well that’s just the bees knees.
This little blog of mine has brought about some great blessings, but the one I’m most thankful for is the friendships. Seriously. I have the sweetest group of blogging buddies anyone could ask for. I talk about y’all all the time. This sweet package came from one of my blogging besties, Kellyann. If you aren’t reading her blog, This Blonde’s Shopping Bag you need to change that today. She’s just the sweetest person and has such a great sense of style. She’s an elementary school guidance counselor and I just know those little kids adore her as much as I do.
Kellyann sent me this perfect array of goodies. She really knows me. Love of candles✔️,
Love of Caramel M&M’s✔️, Love of Nail polish✔️, Love of sweet jewelry✔️.
Kellyann, Thank You!!! ❤️
What a great way to kick off the weekend!
TUNIC / SIMILAR JEANS / FLATS
Saturday finally felt like fall. I walked downstairs and Kent even commented on me looking ready for fall. You just know you’ve got a great thing going when some of the things in your closet continue to show up year after year. This tunic and leopard flats do just that. These flats are my favorites. They’re a little pricey, but worth every penny. They are cute and COMFY and go with so much. I wear them repeatedly in the fall and spring and living in California means I even wear them all winter.
Saturday night we went to a dinner and silent auction for the Agape Villages Foster Family Agency. They are a local foster agency that our church is very involved with. Some friends from church buy a table every year and have been kind enough to ask us to join them the last two years. It’s a fun night out and a chance to help a great organization.
There was a photo booth we got coaxed into doing. Just a couple of crazy kids we are.
You also know you’ve got something good when you use it down to the last little bit. This bronzer/highlighter from Mac has been my favorite for 2 compacts worth. LOL
Now it’s no longer available. Why is it when you just fall in love with a product it has to be discontinued?
So now I’m thinking one of these three may be the answer.

Sunday I wore this cute little dress I picked up at Target last week. I got a ton of compliments on it. I wore leggings with it because it’s a little shorter than I’m comfortable with at “my age”. People are always amazed when you say something is from Target. It pays to cruise through their clothes regularly.
I also picked up this dress. It runs a little small so you might size up. I’m typically a small with no problems, but this one was a little tight across the back.
This dress is another one I spotted in store a while back and they are gone at my store now. I’m still thinking I might need to order it. It would be so cute with leggings, tights or even burgundy skinny jeans.
Kellyann shared these embroidered jeans and I loved them. I’d been looking for a pair and these are perfect. I don’t want to sink a lot of money on something that I consider to be pretty trendy, but these are pretty cheap so I went for it. She sized down, I did not. While I could pour myself into a 2, I like to exhale during the day. LOL Oh! and I’m 5’3″ish and they are full length on me.
They are also available in black.
I’ve been thinking about a utility vest for quite some time and I think this one is the answer. The collar isn’t too big and the color green is perfect.
Okay y’all. That about wraps up all the goodness I’ve got for you this Monday.
Have a great day!
