Welcome to our second Red, White, Blue and You link-up. My Style Six sisters and I had so much fun with this link-up last year, we decided to do it again. Seeing as how I’ve been out of town, and won’t be going all out for the 4th, so I thought I’d round some of my favorite 4th of July inspiration in the form of Pinterest pins. These are things I’ve saved for future 4th celebrations I may host. I’m not sure what it is about this holiday that makes it feel so incredibly festive, but I know I’m here for it. There’s just something about all the red, white and blue that makes me happy and proud at the same time. And if you want to see me totally get choked up, just play “I’m proud to be an American”, sung by Lee Greenwood. That one gets me every time.
So first let’s talk about some decor. This bandana tablecloth is so cute, and would be super easy to make, or at least it seams sew. (see that, sewing lingo?) HA! #icrackmyselfup
Here’s a gorgeous salad that looks super easy to put together, and equally as delicious. This would be perfect to bring to a cookout, and I’m guessing people will ooh and ahh over it.
So I know I’m the odd man out here, but I am not a fan of deviled eggs.?However, most people I know seem to just love them. How stinkin’ fun are these red, white and blue eggs? They would really up the celebration factor at any picnic.
Seems to me, especially when you live in the south, there’s about a 50/50 chance it will rain on the 4th. Womp-Womp! Well, weather (see, there I go again?)it rains, or if your family just like to compete and play games, this printable 4th of July Trivia Game looks like a great idea.
Here’s another fun looking game option on the cheap. Just purchase the download on Etsy and you’re good to go. I’m also guessing there will be smaller 4th of July celebrations this year, and games will be even more fun to play.
Okay! This stuff right here looks all kinds of fun and delicious at the same time. I mean look at it. It just looks like a celebration and if it doesn’t give you 4th of July inspiration, I don’t know what will. I’ve made something very similar for Halloween and other parties, and it’s always a hit. This recipe doesn’t call for it, but if I was making it, I’d put a layer of chocolate graham crackers down before I started with the melted chocolates. #justtrustme
I love a good Rice Krispie treat, and putting one on a stick makes them absolutely too cute for words.
These are not only cute, but two desserts in one, ANNNND you could whip these up in a heartbeat if you used store bought cupcakes. How incredibly easy…and festive!
Alrighty gang, that’s a wrap for my 4th of July inspiration post. There’s still time to get your 4th plans in order and make the most of this firework free, Covid full, whacky 4th of July. #youvegottalaughtokeepfromcrying

Ok, I love the trivia. What a good idea, especially now. I don’t think I realized how much American history that I forgot. Also, I used to complain that my American gov’t class was so boring in college. Ugh! Now I want to go find old history books that haven’t been tampered with to read real history. lol. And “Proud to Be An American” gets me every time as well!
