Hey y’all! First I want to say thank you to several of you who have been sweet enough to let me know you aren’t getting emails with new post notifications. I’m not sure why this is happening, but I’ve contacted the person who helped me with the change over and hopefully we will get it figured out sooner rather than later. Hang in there! I so appreciate you and your faithfulness.
So does anyone else feel like we’re kinda in a fashion holding pattern? I mean for many of us we’ve entered that time of year when we get up and it’s like the meteorologist is playing spin the bottle with the weather. Will be cold? Will it be hot? Will it be windy? Will it rain? Will it snow? One day it’s jeans, sweaters and Uggs and the next it’s shorts, tees and tennies.
I’ve heard from several off you that you are on a shopping hiatus. Some for Lent and others just because. My hat’s off to you and I sure don’t want to tempt you?. I’m trying to wear things I purchased in the fall and shop my own closet. Here’s an outfit I came up with from a couple of basics and a floral top. I’m not going to link right to anything in the post. Most of the exact pieces are sold out with the exception of the sweater and booties, so at the bottom I’ll link to similar items.
This sweater is actually still available in 3 colors and on sale for 40% off. I’ve worn it over and over and love it for travel. Mine is blush (no longer available) and is such a beautiful color and goes with so much. I find myself grabbing this sweater A.LOT. The gray or tan would be a great alternative to the blush. This sweater runs large so I’d suggest sizing down. I did.
This cold shoulder top I got back in early fall is great transition piece. Even with the dark colors, I can pair it with white jeans and the same sweater as the weather warms up.
I’ve been trying to show these plum pants a little love. I’m such the jeans girl that most days that’s what you’ll find me in but these are Rockstars like some of my favorite jeans and really comfortable.

I’m glad Laura said something about your blog not showing up on Bloglovin right away. You can email Bloglovin about it – I’ve had to in the past when I had trouble with some of my pictures.
Anyway, you look fabulous and I was just thinking about that cold shoulder top the other day – this is the perfect time of year to pull it out. Although we have had higher than expected temperatures here by 15 degrees needless to say I am NOT happy. 85 is crazy in February, I think we are going to burn to a crisp here soon!
I am on a shopping hiatus when it comes to sweaters – no more for me even if they’re on sale. I just go the cutest one from H&M and I am dying to wear it. We better get at least one more cold snap or else. Or else what I’m not sure but I’m using my best mom voice when I say it and giving it the stink eye!

Colored rockstar jeans are like a god send to me! I can get away with wearing them at work and they still have that rockstar comfort and fit! You look so cute!

Your floral blouse is gorgeous! The color is superb and I love how the pink florals just pop out! The weather is definitely playing tricks on every one – one day is warm and the next is freezing! It’s hard to get dressed especially if you had your heart on wearing something for that day and I normally plan my outfit the night before! Argh….lol ?

( with the exception of some cute booties) but its about the time i get antsy for some Spring clothes.. so I have shopped the Loft sale recently. I follow you on Bloglovin’ and I think your posts showed up for me just yesterday… My posts sometimes get delayed on Bloglovin’ and I’m not sure why. It’s so frustrating! Most weeks they show up just fine, but every so often they’ll get delayed a bit… I LOVE that blush cardi/sweater… I wish the blush color was still available! Although, I love the floral top and those colored pants paired with it. Perfect colors together!
