Hey friends!!! Schools out for summer…at least in some places it is. Most places will be graduating here in the next few weeks, and finding graduation gifts can be a little bit of a challenge. That’s where I come in. Today I’ve got graduation gifts for guys and girls. I’ve tried to hit several price ranges, but for the most pare keep them reasonably priced.
Gifts for Girls
Heated Coffee Mug – Perfect for all those long hours studying. Keep that coffee warm for a while.
Microwave Popcorn Maker – Popcorn is synonymous with college. I mean, who hasn’t smelled burnt microwave popcorn in the dorm. LOL This collapses for easy storage and comes in 15 colors.
Keurig Single Serve – Single serve coffee makers are one of the best inventions since sliced bread. Just be careful not to fall off the bed and land on it with your nose…you know that’s what happened to Katie a few years ago, and she broke her nose. #truestory
Coffee Mug – This is a really cute mug, and would be great for use with the coffee maker or as a pen holder.
Packing Cubes – These are AWESOME!!! I need to get Kent his own set. You can get a lot more in your suitcase and it’s all organized when using these.
5 Ingredient College Cookbook – This has easy recipes that are perfect for the beginning cook who doesn’t have a lot of time.
YETI – Y’all know I carry around an insulated tumbler all day long with my water. These are great for anyone and everyone.
Nutribullet – I think this is perfect for the dorm or apartment life. Protein smoothies are “all the rage” with people of all ages, but I think especially the younger set. This means they can make their own smoothies and save money too.
Pearl Necklace/Gold Heart Clasp – Either of these would be not only a great piece that any girl would love wearing, but also a keepsake. This line of jewelry holds up phenomenally.
Perfume – This Jo Malone perfume comes in various scents and is very popular. A nice bottle of perfume is always a good gift idea.
Personalized Cosmetic Bag – Whether for travel or carrying to the bathroom in the dorm, a pretty cosmetic bag with an initial would make for a sweet gift. You could even throw in some of your favorite sample size products or a gift card to Ulta.
Bracelet – Little gold bead bracelets with sayings on them are really trending. I have one that says H A P P Y. They are cute alone or stacked with others.
Blanket – I share these blanket all the time because they are so good and the price point is really excellent. I’ve given them to both of my girls and have several around our house. They are crazy soft and cuddly.
Now for the young men. So a lot of the gifts I listed would be good for guys or girls. I’ll only talk about the ones that are different below for the guys.
Gifts for Guys
Shaving Kit – Just like girls need a cosmetics bag, guys can use a shaving kit to hold all their personal items too.
Cologne – And guys like to smell good too…especially with all the dating they’ll be doing. 😉
Beard Grooming Set – This would be great to pair with the shaving kit if the guy your gifting has a beard. Kinda ironic…a “shaving kit” and “beard grooming”. Seems counterintuitive, but they need to keep all the things together.
Yeti Insulated Mug – Guys probably wouldn’t appreciate cute mugs as much as girls, but I’ve gifted several Yeti mugs that have been big hits.
Credit Card/ID Holder – Drivers license, credit cards, gift cards and school ideas all will have a home in a nice little leather carrying case.
Did I think of some things you’ve never thought of? I hope so. I also hope this is a helpful resource. There are lots of guides out there, and you can always check Pinterest. There are also a lot of creative gifts that you can make. I did another post last year you can read here.

In case you missed it, Monday I had a special post about weight loss after 40 and why it seems impossible that Katie wrote for me. I’d love for you to check it out here.

I love those microwave popcorn poppers! I am planning to give my daughter hoodies with their college’s names on them for graduation. I might also get them teddy bears and make small t-shirts with their college’s names on them. (They’ll be getting laptops for college as their main gifts.)
