The Perfect Pumpkin Sweater & A Discount

Hi friends! It’s fall y’all. HA! Well you’d never know it here in the south. It was 88° here yesterday. Now y’all know I’m a warm weather girl through and through, so I’m not complaining, but I do have the perfect pumpkin sweater just waiting to make its big debut. Oh, and I’ve also got a discount code for you. I’ve received two sweaters from Wooden Ships and they are both darling. They aren’t “in your face” seasonal, but a bit more subtle. My style is a little more subdued, with a bit of a nod to holidays, instead of the more head on approach.

This one I’m sharing today is sweet and just says “Pumpkin”. I absolutely adore the style. It’s a crew neck, but with a wider cut, so it’s flattering. I think a little bit of a wider neckline makes it slightly dressier and more feminine. By showing a little of your collar bone it opens up your face.

It’s not what I’d consider boxy either, but does have a nice loose fit while still being flattering. The shirttail hem adds interest as well as a nice silhouette and it’s nice and soft…you know how much I love that.

I paired it with my distressed gray jeans. I really like the monochromatic look, but the wash of these keeps it from being too gray or boring. You’ve seen these from KUT before and I am still loving them and wearing them repeatedly. I’ve added several new pairs of jeans to my closet in the last 6 weeks that I’m loving. How do you do holiday style? Are you full on graphics, more subtle like this, or do you even bother with it?

This perfect pumpkin sweater also begs the question of are you team Pumpkin Spice or not? I ride the fence of this one. I do love almost all the pumpkiny things like pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie and things like that, and I do like a good Pumpkin Spice Latte, but the truth is I’m not usually willing to give up that many calories for a drink. I might have one per year, if that. I wish Starbucks would make a skinny version. Anyone else?
