Hi friends! I get questions from time to time on hair products, tools and tutorials, so today I’m sharing my current hair products and tools I’m using and loving. I receive products to test and try, so the list changes from time to time. I have a highlight saved on my Instagram with hair tutorials you can watch here. A lot of what I’m using is the same, which means I really like it. There are a few new products though, so this is a good opportunity for me to share those with you.
I have been a wash your hair everyday girl almost my entire life. It was partly because it just looked better and partly because I work out and would get sweaty. In the last couple years I’ve cut down to twice a week because I know it’s better for my hair not to use as much heat, etc…on it. The only downside to that is I don’t have as much opportunity to try products.
I started using most of these in the last year. I kept hearing about the Colleen Rothschild brand and ordered the travel kit to try. (BTW…I’ve shared this kit many times, but it is truly the best way to try any/all of her products. The samples sizes are very generous, and you can hold on to the bottles/containers to refill for your toiletry bag) I have a discount code that can be used anytime on the Colleen Rothschild site for 20% off. It’s not stackable with her sales, but if you need or want something not on sale, you can use COASTTOCOAST20.
I really like the shampoo and the hair mask (which stays sold out a lot…so that tells you something right there.)
I use the Styling Cream (currently on sale) from the mid-shaft to the ends on damp hair before blow drying.
I use the Smooth & Shine Serum the same way, but before applying heat (like the round brush dryer, flat iron or curling iron) and sometimes after I’ve styled if my hair looks a little frazzled around my face.
These are the tools you’ll find in my hair basket. I finally broke down several years ago and purchased a T3 dryer, and I’ve had NO regrets. It’s my favorite dryer and I won’t even travel without it. I bought a second one to keep in Nashville, so that speaks volumes. I’ve been toying with getting the travel size to keep in my suitcase, and it’s currently on sale.
I have the T3 flat iron and like it a lot too, so you’re probably wondering why don’t I have the curling iron? Well I bought one once and took it back because I wasn’t that impressed for the price…but it’s been long enough that I’ve been thinking maybe I should give it a second chance.
If you watch my stories you know I REALLY like the Voloom tool that is like a crimper/waffle iron and adds volume to your hair. You use it under the first layer, and it really works.
I asked for a new oval brush dryer thingy for Christmas. Mine is old and it gets so hot on the handle parts have melted, and it burns my hand…can you imagine what that does to my hair? 🤦🏼♀️
I hope posts like this are helpful. As always I’m happy to answer questions and DM’s, share tips and pointers. Let me know if there are other ideas like this for posts you’d like to see in the new year.
I think I’m going to post Wednesday, and then likely take off until the first of the year and just soak up some family time without feeling pressured to blog.
Shop my current hair products and tools below. If you have any questions, hit me with them. I’m happy to answer them and share any tips or tricks.

Thank you for sharing these products. I just started following your blog this year and have purchased several items I love. My daughter has the dyson hairdryer and I love it but just can’t justify the cost so I borrow hers on occasion so maybe the T3 would be a good alternative. I don’t like asking for styling tools for Christmas because I like to try them and may want to return them lol. I’m looking for something I can use to style my hair in between washes and was considering a hot tool brush? I get these weird waves overnight or frizzy hair with the Texas humidity so I normally use my curling iron everyday but was looking for an alternative?

Hi Gloria!! Maybe the T3 and the blow dryer brush will work for you. My daughter and I both love them. Hope your New Year has started off great. XOXO
