Hi friends and happy Friday!!! Guess what!?! We got SNOW. Like 6-8 inches of snow yesterday. It was so nice to snuggle up in the house and not be able to leave. Katie and I sat on the sofa ALL. DAY. LONG. Today I’m sharing my current favorite booties, and so are my Chit Chat Chic girls. They may even be sharing other fun boots for this time of year since we all live in different areas of the country.
You’ll probably notice a theme with neutrals. I am such a neutral girl…you know, kinda like France. HA! I’ve got 3 pairs of neutral booties that are all similar, but different. This first pair I had actually been eyeing for quite a while, and I finally got them. That’s honestly my MO for most things I buy, especially if they are little on the pricier side.
The heel on these is a good height. Not too high, not too low. I like the shaft height too. It goes well with cropped jeans, but also dresses because it gives the bootie look without cutting off your leg.
Good news…there are several options that look identical to these on Amazon for a much cheaper price tag. I’ll share them in the shop the post widget at the end.
Let’s chat about the dress for a second. It’s a super soft flannel. If you want me to like something, just make it super soft. I love this little dress and it’s currently on sale for $28.
Surprise! Surprise! Another pair of neutral booties. This style has a higher shaft and works well with flare jeans or cropped boot cut jeans, but also can be worn with dresses like Katie and I are both doing.
And the last pair of neutral booties are from Target. They’re a much lower price point, but still a great bootie to have. I wear these as much as either of the other two. I like them for quite a few reasons. The color (duh), the heel height is enough to be a heel, but low enough to be comfortable when wearing, and I don’t worry so much about them getting ruined should I get caught in rain.
This sweater is also a good find. It’s from Shop Avara, and it’s reallllly soft. Which you know I am all about. I think it’s super cute for the upcoming Valentine’s season, but can absolutely be worn anytime.
I bought these black block heel booties last year, and they’ve been such a great purchase. They’re extremely comfortable and can be dressed up or down. They work well with or without tights and a dress, with jeans, and also with leggings, so they’re an all around great pair to have in your closet.
This dress is another new piece, and soooo soft. It’s also on sale for about $22..at LOFT. That’s a screamin’ good deal friends.
This last pair of favorite booties is another pair from Target. I bought these last year to leave at Katie’s apartment for when I visited and it rains. They’re a great alternative to the more expensive ones from J.Crew. These come in at about $25 and can be picked up on sale frequently. They’re easy to slip on and off and have the look of the popular Chelsea booties.

Can’t go wrong with the neutrals and it is good to have them in different versions too. Those little rain boots are a great idea and such a steal!

I really need to update my neutral booties but will probably wait till next year. I am jealous of the snow! I do not want to drive in it or anything but some snow fun for a few days would be so much fun with the boys.

I say long live the neutral bootie!!! One can never have too many, in my opinion! You’ve got some good ones, for sure, and I just love that photo of the three of you. So cute.
