Happy Friday sweet friends! Whew! We made it. What a week it’s been. I’m here to tell ya’ that playing catch up after a week of Katie being home and then being gone a week has been no small task. I got through yesterday and now I feel like I can take a deep breath. What was yesterday? Bible study day. Y’all know I’m involved in a Community Bible Study that I love. Well I had 2 weeks worth of lessons I needed to do AND it was my week to provide a devotional for the leaders in the morning before we started. Good grief. Doing things like that is not one of my gifts, so it stresses me out. I was trying to figure out what to share and finally the light came on. What is this weekend? Easter! Easter is so much more than pastels, finding eggs, and new Easter dresses (and y’all know I love me a new dress). It’s the celebration of the greatest gift humanity has ever been given, the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Well my devo went well and now I’m done and I can breath a big sigh of relief.
Guess what today is? Well not only is it Good Friday, but today is also Friday Favorites #100! That’s exciting, right?! I can hardly believe it. I’d like to say I’ve got some real Earth shattering favorites to share, but you know that’s not how I roll. I’m just a day-to-day girl and sharing day-to-day things, but I do have things to share, so let’s get to it.
Freshly painted toes. It was past time for a pedicure for these piggy toes and since I’m planning to wear sandals for Easter Sunday, I figured I’d better get these babies cleaned up. Nothing says spring like a beautiful shade of pink, and bare toes in the grass. Now I just need to tan up my feet. Hahaha!
Speaking of tanned toes. I’ll be using this Rodan + Fields Essentials Foaming Sunless Tan(ner) to get my legs ready and keep from scaring small children with their current whiteness. I’ve tried quite a few tanners and this one is really great. Not only does it go on easily, I’ve never once had a streak show up. It’s super gradual and I think that’s what keeps it from streaking. You can achieve the desired colored through multiple applications and it’s very natural looking.

Happy mail is ALWAYS a favorite and while I was gone last week this sweet little package showed up. This gorgeous liquid lipstick and shimmery lipgloss came and I couldn’t wait to try them. The gloss is a beautiful neutral which is totally my jam and the gloss is the perfect amount of shimmer to top it or any other lip color that might need a little somethin’ somethin’. Laurie Felt (follow her on Facebook here) is a clothing designer who specializes in denim and does a lot of work with QVC and has a partnership with Jouer Cosmetics. Together they are celebrating empowering women from the inside out. I love that.
