So had I realized before I published yesterdays post it was What’s Up Wednesday I would have just switched them, but as luck would have it I figured that out too late. Guess what? Not the first time that’s happened…hahaha.
Anyway, better late than never…right?!?!
Let’s find out the answers to the following questions and link up with Mel, Shay and Sheaffer.
What we’re eating this week…
Salmon and Caesar salad
Chicken with tomatoes and spinach over quinoa
and the rest of the week is TBD.
(This recipe is from Jesse’s mom…I’m talking about him in a minute?)
What I’m reminiscing about…
Seeing all the back to school pictures of course makes me think back on all of my kids first days. How did that time pass so quickly?
What I’m loving…
Lash Boost is back in stock! We were sold out for 2 months and it’s finally back. YES, it’s that good!
I’m not exaggerating when I say that if I could only take one product with me on a desert island this would be it. The difference in my lashes is amazing! But I’m not the only one. Check out all of these before and afters.
I am offering 5 lucky readers a special deal I’ve never done before. Sign up as a PC and order Lash Boost and I’ll reimburse your one time $19.95 enrollment cost.

What we’ve been up to…
Getting little missy’s dorm room all cozied up. This room had 10 foot ceilings so we had to wait for “dad” to get their to do the lights.
What I’m dreading…
Honestly, nothing and that’s a good thing!
What I’m working on…
This week I’ve been trying to get ready for my bible study that starts back up today. I got home Monday night and had to get all my materials, do 2 lessons and call 15 sweet ladies to introduce myself. It’s going to be a great year studying the book of Matthew and learning more about the life of Jesus.
If you are looking for a good bible study and a wonderful way to meet women you should look into a Community Bible Study in your area. They are an inter-denomination bible study located all over the country.
What I’m excited about…
I was totally surprised when my Rodan + Fields sponsor tagged me in a post this week and that I was the highest volume producer on our team last month. Can I just tell you that I started using these products with no intention of selling them?! I love them and what they do and I also love that I fell into a job I can work no matter where I am. If you are wondering what’s next for you, then this just might be the answer. I decided to give it a try as a way to fill my time now that I’m an empty nester and I’m able to support my shopping habit. LOL!
What I’m watching/reading…
Elizabeth and I started watching Scandal while I was in Nashville.
Chesapeake Shores is back on.
And we are ready for This Is Us to come back on. Our DVR had recorded what we thought was an episode, but it was only a teaser. BUMMER!
What I’m listening to…
Our friend Jesse released an EP this week on iTunes and we are so excited for him. I talked about him releasing a single before and now he’s released 4 more songs. This guy is amazing! He writes his own songs, plays and sings. His brother and sister are doing the harmonies and playing the violin and bass. Such a talented family. Click HERE to check it out!
What I’m wearing…
My new circle cardigan I purchased during the Nordstrom sale has been on complete and total repeat.
This dress from Loft is my new favorite. So cute and comfy!
What I’m doing this weekend…
Good question!
What I’m looking forward to next month…
You guessed it! I’m going back to Nashville. I’ll be going to Gulf Shores, AL for a Rodan + Fields virtual convention weekend with our team and then attending a wedding in KY both of which will coincide with Katie’s fall break and birthday.
YIPPEE!!!
What else is new…
Not much. Just getting back to our new normal of no kids at home again and gearing up for fall.
Hope you’re having a great week. Happy Friday Eve friends.

Thanks Laura! I swear I'm worried that sweater is going to be worn out before fall even gets here. Happy Friday Eve!

Congratulations my friend! Quite an accomplishment with R & F! You go, girl!
That chicken and spinach over quinoa looks delish! The pictures of your kids heading back to school are so sweet, I ask myself all the time where all the years went and when I think about turning 50 I can hardly believe it! What the heck, I swear I'm in my 30's.
I hope your bible study went well, that is one of the things I miss most about working – going to bible study during the DAY! It was always so nice and sometimes we ladies would have lunch. I need to get my bootie in gear and find a study I can do at home. My life is so much better when I'm doing a study!
I'm off to watch the latest weather reports about old Irma and head to my last official open house for Collin tonight! I can't believe my baby is a senior. I know, I know, preaching to the choir!
Alright girl, take care!
Hugs,
Kellyann

OH my gosh…I've been thinking about you all day! Are y'all very close to where the worst of the storm is going to be??? I don't watch the news, so I'm totally clueless. Praying for safety sweet friend! CBS has some bible studies that are evenings…something to think about. I'd love to do a Beth Moore study some day. I hear such wonderful things about hers. Enjoy your last open house. I know you don't wish away a minute with that sweet boy, but it sure didn't hurt my feelings to see those things come to an end…LOL. Come to CA and stay with me so you can dodge the storm.❤️
Kellyann Rohr says
Oh how I wish I could come to CA!!!! We are in Orlando and expect the storm to be a category 2 when it comes our way with 100 MPH wind. It could be worse.
I did a Beth Moore study years ago, actually did a couple of hers and I loved them. I am thinking of researching what she's got now and getting one. Our church does a Wed. night study but Collin has a mentoring program we take him to on Wed. evenings twice a month so I'd miss those nights. I'll find something I'm sure but I so miss the ladies bible studies I used to be a part of.
Thanks for thinking of me!!!

Wow! Way to go on your R+F accomplishment! Love the kids in their back to school pictures!
Lisa says
Thanks Allie! I hope it didn't seem "boastful", but I am excited. It's strange not having back to school pic anymore. How was work today?
Laura says
I have GOT to send you a picture of how we did Steph's tapestry. We put it behind her bed with lights. It turned out really cute.
Lisa says
Yes, send me one. We would have done the same thing if her bedding wasn't already so busy. They don't even really match, but it's a dorm so whatever goes!!!
Jenny says
Those back to school pictures are adorable! So proud of you and your R+F accomplishment! That's great! If my bestie didn't already sell it, I'd totally buy from you! 🙂 Enjoy your weekend!
Lisa says
Aww, thanks Jenny!!! What products do you use? Have you tried Lash Boost? It's so awesome!
Kristi Griedl says
That's awesome about your high sales!! Feels so good I bet!! Love your back to school pics of the kids 🙂
