Hi friends! Happy Monday! You know I’m a warm weather girl, right? 110% for sure. Well with warm weather comes the thought of the pool, beach, and all things outdoor, and that makes me think it’s time for Cabana Life. When we went to New Orleans, I got this dress from Cabana Life, and fell in love with it. So much so I decided I ‘needed‘ 😉😉 it in white. Isn’t it just so cute in both colorways? At the end, tell me which is your preference. This material is just the perfect summer weight. Honestly, it reminds me a little of swimsuit fabric. It’s soft and stretchy, AND if it gets wet, it will dry super fast.
There are several ways to wear the waist of this dress. I personally like it pulled down on my hips a little, but you can also wear it up on your natural waist for a more blousy effect. I also think you could easily add a rattan belt and layer a denim jacket over it.
On a side note…here’s a little something about me you probably don’t know. I have a degree in Art/Advertising, and a minor in Interior Design. I had to take painting classes in college, and these pictures with my reflection in the water make think of what a great painting this picture would make. I also tell you that painting does not come natural to me. LOL I found to be challenging and frustrating, and I’m totally in awe of people who have that talent. We went to a Van Gogh Immersive Exhibit this weekend, and I loved seeing his paintings come to life.

Does summer make you think it’s time for Cabana Life? I really think these styles just scream “take me to the beach”. I just made our vacation reservations and now I can’t wait to pack my bags and go…sadly it’s not until mid August. HA!
