Casual Friday Outfit

Hi friends! Happy Friday! I’ve had a big week. My friend Cindy (from LuLuloves7) has been in town. Cindy is also one of my Chit Chat Chic friends. We’ve been shopping for a mother of the groom dress for her. Her son is getting married in July and we found a gorgeous dress, and had so much fun. Today I’ve got a great idea for a casual Friday outfit.

This top is from Gibson, and I just adore the sleeves. The puff and cuff on the sleeves are both adorable. The material is so and stretchy. In most Gibson tops I size down to and XS, and I did in this one. I think I might have preferred the small though. The material is really soft, has some stretch and is really comfy. I actually wore this Wednesday for one of our shopping outings, but added this denim jacket. It looked really cute. These are the Spanx wide leg crops, and they are G double O D – GOOD! They have a little panel built in the front that holds you in all nice and snug and they don’t stretch out AT ALL.

This is my second pair of these pants. I also have them in a khaki. I really love the wide leg crop style. The secret to wearing these is making sure they are the right length, a few inches above your ankle. They also look best styled with a top that isn’t too long or too loose. That’s why this Gibson top is perfect to wear with them.

These sandals are the “it” sandal once again. They came out last year, and this year I had to get a pair. I’m so glad I did. They look good with everything from jeans to dresses, and they are very comfortable.
