Hi friends! Well…you may have noticed I went a little MIA on Monday. We were in Boston for the marathon and it was fantastic. I’ll do an entire Boston post soon, but for today I’ve got some new styles from Dillard’s. I went in last week to do a fitting/try on for a fashion show I’m participating in tomorrow night. I figured it would be a great time to share some Dillard’s fashions with you.
This first dress is from one of my favorite Dillard’s brands. Antonio Melani. I find myself drawn to this line that’s only available at Dillard’s. This is the new Nat Note collection. It’s super fun and chic for summer and vacations. These would be great pieces to take on a tropical vacation.
This dress is a v-neck maxi that almost has the feel of a kaftan. The linen and print are both beautiful. I’m wearing a small, but think an x-small would fit better. There wasn’t one in store for me to try on.
These two pieces are from the same Nat Note collection. I think the thing for both of these pieces is that they are made for someone taller, especially the top, You know I love a wide leg pant, and the somewhat tropical/tribal print on these is pretty. They would be great vacation pieces.
This is a really fun combo here. The brand is J.McLaughlin. Dillard’s carries it, but they also have free standing retail stores throughout the country. I’d describe the brand as classic meets preppy meets fun. The pants are a vibrant print with great colors. They are intended to be cropped, but you know how that goes for me. The yellow t-shirt is the perfect accompaniment. I think a linen top of some kind or even a linen tunic would pair well with them. They are a nice stretchy fabric that pulls on.
The jacket doesn’t appear to be online yet, but I’ll keep checking and update when it shows up. I love the look of a tweed blazer, and this is a fun take on that style. A little more modern and with more details. Again, I feel like it’s supposed to be a little cropped, but not on this girl.
Let me just mention the shoes too. I am loving this new cork platform sandal. From the first day I put them on they’ve been comfortable and easy to walk in. The day I wore them to the mall was actually the first time I had worn them and I did a lot of walking. You can use my code COAST10 for 10% off. They come in narrow and wide if you need more of a width selection.
Here is a two piece set from Anotonio Milani. He really knows how to do beautiful prints and fabrics. There is an entire line out right now with the most beautiful colors, prints and summer feel. The prints include both flowers and sea shells. I think I had on a 4 top and 6 skirt, but could have sized down in both. The fun part is both of these pieces would pair well with other items in your closet. The top would be cute with a pair of orange pants or distressed jeans, and the skirt would look great with a bright tank and cropped denim jacket.
I absolutely loved this dress from Gianni Bini. I’m wearing the 4, but needed a 2 and there wasn’t one in store. If it wasn’t for such a deep “V” on the front, (and long sleeves in July) I’d really be tempted to wear it for Mother of the Bride. I think it’s beautiful and fun. I have a wad of fabric in my hand behind me to help it look like it fits.

Wow! I love everything and I love everything on you! I rarely go to Dillard’s because mine seems so big and disorganized. Maybe I should go!

I am interested in your influence. Cozy Earth has a skirt and square neck t-shirt that I love. It looked great on you and I would like a jacket.
How does your site work for me?
