Talbots Spring Styles

I think we can finally say that spring has sprung, and pull out all of the cute clothes we’ve been dying to wear. I checked out some Talbots spring styles when I was at the mall the other day. They have some really cute pieces in that are perfect for warmer days.

Let’s start with this pair of jeans. This right here friends is why our closets look more like a jeans store. HA! These are a straight leg crop jean. We have to have jeans in so many style and color variations, and men just don’t understand, I’m wearing my true size 6 and they fit well. They are also the regular not petite and I like the length.

The top is a really pretty print and a very lightweight fabrication, so on those stifling hot summer days, this will be one you’ll reach for.

There’s something open an open stitch sweater that gets me every time. I just love them. This one is available in several colors and is so cute. Slightly longer in the back and will go with so many things. I really like this orange color and it’s on trend right now.

I grabbed this skirt because EYELET…and you know how I feel about that. I didn’t get a blouse or tee to go with it so I left on the sweater. You could actually wear them together though for a fun mix of textures. The skirt is darling and I have on a size 4.

This dress is so cute. Have you noticed that citrus prints are everywhere? They’re fun and fresh. I’m wearing a petite in this dress, but I think I could have also worn the regular and it fit more like a traditional maxi.

I think this top is super cute. I love the color especially with white. I’m also a big fan of the flutter sleeve. The jeans are a cropped jegging, which I really didn’t realize when I grabbed. They aren’t my favorite style, but they give you a good idea of what the top looks like with white jeans.

Here are two pieces that look cute together but also can be worn with other things. A linen shirt is a good closet staple for spring and summer to take the place of a regular white shirt. You can do so much with it. Wear it tied or loose, with jeans, pants, skirts, shorts…wear it open with a tank under or over a swim suit.

The skirt is the same. Wear it with shirts, tanks, or sweaters. It would also be really cute over a white swimsuit.
