Hi friends! This post is brought to you by the letters A M A Z O N. HA! Three new Amazon looks are coming your way. But first let’s talk about my new “office”. Since Katie moved out two weeks ago, I’m turning my old guest room into a work space and moved the guest room to her room. It will take me a while to get it just the way I want it, but I’m excited to have a dedicated space.
I got these overalls a while back in a brown color and loved them, so I had to try another color. Being the neutral fan I am, black was the obvious choice. They are a great, affordable alternative to this Free People pair. Fit tip: They are looong on me, so I moved the buttons up to shorten them. I still needed to wear a “heel”, so my sandal clogs were the perfect shoes.
The ruffle sleeve knit tee is one of my favorite shirts of the season. It looks adorable with everything, and balances out the flowiness of the overalls well. You can use my code LISA10 on it.
Two piece sets are allll over the place on Amazon. You can see a few others I’ve shared here and here. This one is a soft cotton/linen and I love the square neck. I’m wearing a small and the pants fits well. The top is a little big, but it doesn’t come in XS. This would be just adorable for the 4th of July. It comes in 16 additional colors if you aren’t a fan of red.
My necklace is a new piece from Julie Vos. I absolutely love her jewelry. They are large scale pieces that offer a lot of presence and style. This necklace is a pendant, but I doubled the chain to make it work. I have this pair of earrings I wear several days a week.
I love the pattern and the colors on this dress. I ordered another dress in the same print and love it too. This dress is so soft, has pockets and would work for dinner out or you could even wear it as a swim cover.
I’ve been wearing this pair of sandals a LOT. I also have them in black. They are so cute, and very comfy. They look great with dresses, shorts or cropped pants.
Which of these three new Amazon looks is your favorite. I’m not sure I can choose.
The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.
Have you signed up for my newsletters yet? You can do it at the bottom of this page. On Monday’s I share last weeks top 6 sellers, and on Friday’s there is a complete list of sales. There are usually things included in the newsletter for subscribers that don’t appear on the blog.😉 It’s kind of like Instagram. I share things all week long in stories and on the grid that don’t necessarily make it here.
Have a wonderful Monday!!!!
