Hi friends! I managed to get a little sample of what to buy during Prime days last night. Honestly, didn’t Amazon and Nordstrom know that this month was really not a convenient time for these sales? Didn’t they know Katie was getting married in 2 1/2 weeks? HA! I AM SWAMPED!
Here’s the thing with Prime Days. The deals are there! You just have to look for them. It’s almost like shopping a TJM and Home Goods. You just have to look until you find something you want.
LITTLE GREEN CLEAN MACHINE – I have heard nothing but good things about this little carpet cleaner. For people with pets and kids, I think this would be great to have on hand.
ROOMBA – Same goes for the Roomba. I know so many people who absolutely LOVE and SWEAR by these.
YETI COOLER – YETI coolers are supposed to be the best. The tumblers certainly work, so I’m sure the coolers do too.
STAIN TREATER – This stuff works like a charm. Katie spilled a big smoothie made from fruit and spinach on the carpet and left a terrible stain. This removed 98% off it. (That’s my guess.) Seriously, it worked GREAT.
CURLING IRON – This is the same brand as my curling iron and it works great.
FAUX TULIPS – I have these in white and love them. I think this are in more homes than we can even imagine.
SPONGES – I had a sponge like this a long time ago. I ordered these. I think they’ll be especially great for keeping the bathroom to wipe down the counter tops.
OLAPLEX – It’s rare you find OLAPLEX on sale, but it’s 20% off during Prime Days.
BLACKSTONE GRILL – This is another one of those things that I’ve heard nothing but good things about. Katie got Sam one for a wedding gift and ended up having to tell him last night because he wanted to order one while it was on sale. She was so sad the surprise was spoiled.
The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.
Have you signed up for my newsletters yet? You can do it at the bottom of this page. On Monday’s I share last weeks top 6 sellers, and on Friday’s there is a complete list of sales. There are usually things included in the newsletter for subscribers that don’t appear on the blog.😉 It’s kind of like Instagram. I share things all week long in stories and on the grid that don’t necessarily make it here.
Have a wonderful Monday!!!!
