Hi friends! I don’t know about you, but I find it hardest to dress during a season change. Today I thought we’d look at fall transition dresses from Amazon. These are dresses that will work while it’s warm, but can also be worn as the temperatures cool off and fall hits. I love using Amazon as a resource for fall transition dresses because most of them will have various color and print options, and they tend to be affordable, so there’s something for everyone.
Boho babydoll dress – This is super easy to wear and style. They are comfortable and you can wear them with various shoes. Choose a sandal while the weather is warm, but then add a bootie or even cowboy boot as the fall temperatures creep in. This one would also be a cute concert option.
Puff Sleeve Midi Dress – This is a super popular style. This same dress had been showing up for several years, but this year I’m really drawn to this rust/red color for fall. This dress is a great church or workwear option, and you can add a blazer or denim jacket as it gets cooler.
Ruffle Neck Tiered Dress – This is one of my favorite styles. This is another one that seems to stick around style wise from year to year making it a good choice for taking up some closet real estate. This style is also super versatile in the shoe department because you can wear almost any shoe with it from a sneaker to a heel to a bootie. This dress runs big, so I’d suggest sizing down.
Hooded Sweatshirt Dress – This one isn’t so much for workwear, unless maybe you wore it to a teacher workday, but it would be a cute option for everyday casual, or travel. Depending on the where it hits you in the length you could add leggings to extend the wear as it gets cooler. Layer a denim jacket over it and pull the hood out of the back for a cute, sporty look. This dress is from the Drop, and it’s consistently one of my favorite Amazon brands.
Tiered Cap Sleeve Dress – I like the versatility a shorter dress gives in the shoe department. This is another dress where you could go sneaker, sandal, bootie, or a low heel would work as well. You can also add a denim jacket or blazer with this one.
Halter Neck Dress – This one is so cute. I’ve shared it styled with cowboy boots for a concert look and it layers so well with a denim jacket. It comes in 39 colors and prints. Yes, that’s a lot of options. Wear it with the belt that comes with it, or replace with a rattan belt for summer and leather as we move into fall.

The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.
