I’ve been wearing Summersalt swimsuits and coverups all summer and loving them. I had seen them and thought they were super cute. They run great sales, and that includes the 30% off swim and coverups that’s going on right now.
In swimsuits I normally size up one to an 8, but in this brand, I don’t. I did for my first suit and it was too big. The black and white suit is a 6, and it’s still big in the top. That suit best suits someone with a larger top and smaller bottom.

The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.

So sorry to hear about your mom. I will pray for comfort and healing for her. Prayers for your dad as he cares for her. A few years ago we were on the Georgia Tech campus for the first football game of the season. I tripped over a manhole cover that had not been properly placed over the manhole and broke my wrist. I now have a titanium plate (actually looks like Wolverine’s hand!) in my wrist and hand. Happy Labor Day!
