Hello friends and hello Friday before Christmas. THREE days. Can you believe it? We are down to the wire and in the homestretch. Are you ready? I can’t believe it, but I think I am. I’ve even already got the suitcase with all the gifts packed and ready to go. There were several things this week I had on my list and now that they are all finished I feel like I can really relax and not feel so rushed. It’s been a fun week with Katie at home and making Friday favorites a little more joyful.
Tuesday night I hosted my 2nd cookie exchange for friends from bible study. We had a small group who were able to come, but we enjoyed visiting and eating. I asked everyone to bring cookies and an appetizer. We all agreed snacky food makes for the best dinner.
If you are looking for a new appetizer to try, this corn dip is delicious and can be served hot or cold. It’s super easy.

Wednesday, Katie and I went to get our nails done. Sadly we were sitting on complete opposite ends of the shop…lol.
The girl who’s been doing my nails since I started getting them “dipped” does the best job, she’s so sweet and really takes her time and is very careful. I took her a box of Christmas treats.
Here they are all pretty and ready for our Christmas trip. BTW..check out Katie’s eyelashes. She uses Lash Boost too, and her lashes are seriously bonkers!!! Let me know if you are ready to get beautiful lashes for yourself.
We have these 3 cuties that live next door to us. They adore Katie and just love to come visit all of us. I invited them over for a little Christmas crafting fun. We made ornaments and decorated cookies. I’ll tell ya’, give kids a bag of frosting and sprinkles and they are so happy.
Yesterday Katie and I finally got out to do a little shopping. She’s on the hunt for some new shoes.
These slip ons by Steve Madden look so cute on.
Barrington Gifts did a giveaway on Instagram and I won the cutest little St. Anne tote for an Elf on the Shelf. I’ve always been a big sucker for all things tiny and it is absolutely darling. Well we didn’t have an elf, so naturally I had to go get one. I’ll be totally honest here. I was thrilled to have an excuse to buy one. I can’t wait to have some sweet little grand-babies and an Elf at my house. (But first things first?) Anyway, you could post a picture of your elf with the tote for a chance to win a “life size” tote. Katie and I named our elf Gretchen and I did a little story with her and it paid off…I WON! Are you kidding me?! I was over the moon! I’ve been eyeing one of these totes for over and year and now I’m finally going to get one. Merry Christmas to me! Gretchen and I are both so excited!!! I can’t wait to design mine and start carrying it.
You won’t be surprised that after my For The Love Of Leopard post this week that I’m leaning toward this one. Yep, I’m that crazy person that has to see things side by side to choose so I mocked up all the choices I was interested in. Don’t judge?. Which one would you choose?
I hope y’all aren’t getting tired of hearing me talk about LOFT. They are seriously killing it this year with their styles. I picked this sweater up Saturday. It is sooo soft. It’s Lou & Grey and you know how much I love this line. This sweater all the things. Soft✔️ Cozy✔️ On sale✔️ Fun little details✔️ The best part is, they are still offering 50% off. A lot of time Lou & Grey is excluded from 50% off, so if you’ve been thinking about getting some, do.it.now. Lou & Grey does tend to run generous in some of the tops. I got an x-small in this one. (Allie, I wore my leopard flats with it?)
Alrighty then. That wraps up all the goodness I have for you today. We leave tomorrow for Virginia and are so looking forward to seeing a lot of our family. It will be so much fun. I may go a little MIA next week and honestly, I hope you will too. Enjoy your family time and being with friends. Soak it all up. Life is busy and so fast, don’t let the little moments slip by.
Merry Christmas y’all!!!
